£1.44m boost for UK green hydrogen scheme

The HyZEM project, funded by Innovate UK and Australia's Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, focuses on developing green hydrogen technology for workboats to drive decarbonisation in the maritime sector. It aims to demonstrate practical applications for green hydrogen storage and propulsion on vessels, supported by an international collaboration involving UK and Australian businesses. Key partners include Steamology, Duodrive, Chartwell Marine, The Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult, and Rux Energy Australia.
