176MW NZ array hits full power

New Zealand’s 176MW Harapaki wind farm is now fully operational, being the country’s second-largest onshore array. Developer Meridian's general manager, Guy Waipara, expressed satisfaction for achieving the target. The wind farm is located north of Napier on Maungaharuru Range, utilising Siemens Gamesa turbines. Meridian aims at transitioning to a net zero economy and delivering seven renewable projects in seven years.
