Researchers at Chitkara University in India developed a 2D Dion-Jacobson perovskite solar cell using bandgap grading techniques and MXene contacts. MXenes, derived from MAX crystals, exhibit unique optoelectronic properties. The cell used PCBM as ETL, V2O5 as HTL, and Ta4C3F2 and T14N3 as MXene contacts. The study aimed to optimize the DJ-P layer's performance through compositional adjustments and utilized different grading profiles for efficiency enhancement.
