Acciona wins CfD for largest solar project at Croatia’s auction

Acciona Energía has been awarded a 12-year contract for difference (CfD) for its Promina photovoltaic project in Croatia. The Promina project is the largest solar power project in Croatia with a peak capacity of 189 MW. It will generate 320 GWh per year, meeting the energy needs of 69,000 households and reducing CO2 emissions by 140,000 tonnes annually. Acciona Energía is set to become the main producer of clean energy in Croatia upon the completion of its projects, including Promina.
