Actis-backed IPP acquires 140MW Thailand PV portfolio

Levanta Renewables acquired a 139.4MWp operational solar PV portfolio in Thailand, including 24 ground-mounted projects across four Thai provinces. Actis, the parent company, owns 9 energy generation businesses across Asia. In addition to Thailand, Actis has launched a Japanese renewable energy platform and an IPP in Peru for capacity developments. The broader Southeast Asian region shows growth potential for the solar PV industry, particularly in balance of system component manufacturing.
