ِACWA Power to complete large green H2 project in Egypt in 2028 - report

The Egyptian unit of Saudi Arabia's ACWA Power Co expects to complete the first phase of its green hydrogen project in the Suez Canal Economic Zone by the fourth quarter of 2028. The project involves investments of about USD 4 billion and will produce 600,000 tonnes of green ammonia per year. The hydrogen plant will be powered by renewable energy from the East Nile region in Minya Governorate.
