Adani Green Energy expands solar and renewables portfolios in 2024 financial year

Adani Green Energy, the renewables arm of Indian power major Adani, added 2.8GW of new renewable power-generating capacity in the twelve months to March 2024. The company reported a significant growth in revenue from its power generating facilities in the 2024 financial year, despite a fall in revenue between the fourth quarters of 2023 and 2024. The solar portfolio of the company increased by 49% with solar-wind hybrids showing substantial growth. Amit Singh, the CEO of Adani Green Energy, emphasized the focus on delivering energy storage and set ambitious targets for the future.
