Adani Green Energy expands solar and renewables portfolios in 2024 financial year

Adani Green Energy, the renewables arm of Indian power major Adani, reported a 33% growth in revenue from power generating facilities in the financial year ending March 2024. The company added 2.8GW of new renewable power-generating capacity during this period. Revenue from power generation increased to INR77 billion, with significant growth in earnings. Despite a fall in revenue between fourth quarters, attributed to capacity additions, especially in solar projects, the company remains optimistic about its future performance in the renewables sector.
