Adani Green Energy expands solar and renewables portfolios in 2024 financial year

Adani Green Energy, the renewables arm of Indian power major Adani, reported a 33% growth in revenue from its power generating facilities in the financial year ending March 2024. The company added 2.8GW of new renewable power-generating capacity during this period. Despite a year-on-year growth, revenue fell in the fourth quarter of the financial year. Adani Green Energy's solar portfolio grew significantly, including a 551MW solar project commissioned in Gujarat. The company is now focusing on energy storage projects, aiming to commission 5GW of hydro pumped storage projects by 2030.
