Adani Green Energy expands solar and renewables portfolios in 2024 financial year

Adani Green Energy, the renewables arm of Indian power major Adani, reported a 33% growth in revenue from power generation in the 2024 financial year. The company added 2.8GW of new renewable power capacity, particularly in solar projects. Despite a decrease in revenue in the fourth quarter, Adani Green Energy remains optimistic about its performance in the renewables sector. The company is focusing on delivering energy storage projects alongside solar, wind, and hybrid projects to achieve their goal of commissioning 5GW of hydro pumped storage projects by 2030.
