Adani Green Energy inks 5GW PPA for Khavda PV project

Indian renewable energy giant Adani Green Energy signed a 5GW, 25-year power purchase agreement with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company for the Khavda solar park in Gujarat. The project aims to reach 30GW capacity and involves partnerships with TotalEnergies and Indian state-owned utilities. Adani Group subsidiary, Adani Power, also signed a PPA for thermal power supply. Adani's solar market involvement and potential capacity expansion plans were highlighted.
