AES inaugurates 183-MW Mississippi wind farm contracted by Amazon

AES Corp has inaugurated the 183-MW Delta wind farm in Mississippi, the state’s first utility-scale wind generation site, also used for agricultural activities. The project was developed by Vestas Wind Systems and acquired by AES in 2022. It generates electricity for local facilities and operations of Amazon.com Inc.
