AGR wins Danish geothermal drilling gig

Innargi, a geothermal energy supplier owned by AP Moller Holding, ATP, NRGi, and Sampension, has contracted AGR for technical consultancy on three geothermal appraisal wells in Aarhus, Denmark. The project aims to utilize geothermal energy for district heating, with AGR providing geology and drilling supervision. The Aarhus project, set to be the EU’s largest geothermal district heating system, involves advanced drilling techniques to harness subsurface heat with plans to start heat delivery in 2025.
