Albanian state-owned energy corporation KESH is poised to receive a EUR 30 million loan from the EBRD to establish a 50-MWp solar farm in Belsh, central Albania. This investment is part of a broader EUR 40 million solar project, with additional financial support from the WBIF. The project aims to diversify KESH’s energy production, traditionally reliant on hydro power, by incorporating solar energy into the mix.
