A Chinese-Canadian research group has developed a monolithic all-perovskite tandem solar cell with an inverted perovskite top cell structure. They utilized a thermal regulation strategy incorporating carboranes to improve thermal stability and electron transport. The top cell achieved a high efficiency of 23.4% and the tandem cell reached 27.2% efficiency. Encapsulated tandem cells exhibited good stability under continuous operation.
