A group of researchers led by the University of Toronto in Canada fabricated an all-perovskite tandem solar cell with a wide-band-gap bottom cell based on tin-lead perovskite. The research team used a novel diamine chelation chemistry approach to improve perovskite solar cells' durability and stability. The tandem solar cell achieved an efficiency of 28.83% and retained over 90% of its original efficiency after 1,000 hours of operation.
