Researchers at Nanjing University in China have developed an all-perovskite tandem solar cell with improved efficiency and reduced non-radiative recombination. The cell combines wide and narrow bandgap perovskite cells, offering high efficiency, low cost, and potential applications in various fields. By utilizing a 3D/3D double-layer perovskite heterostructure, the team achieved a power conversion efficiency of 28.5% and addressed interface recombination challenges.
