Alpiq sells rooftop PV portfolio in Switzerland

Swiss electricity producer Alpiq sells its rooftop solar assets in Switzerland to PS Panneaux Solaires SA. The portfolio comprises seven plants generating 5.6 GWh of renewable energy annually. Alpiq focuses on core operations, including planning, building, and operating PV systems. Switzerland has installed 602 MW of solar capacity, reaching around 6.8 GW by April 2024.
