Annual inflation rate dropped to 4.94% in June

The annual inflation rate dropped to 4.94% in June 2024, from 5.12% in May. Food goods rose by 1.10%, non-food goods by 6.28%, and services by 8.81%. The National Bank of Romania revised the inflation forecast to 4.9% for the year end and expects 3.5% by the end of 2025.
