Apple supplier Luxshare commissions 4.5-MW solar array in China

Chinese electronics manufacturer Luxshare Precision Industry Co Ltd, known as an iPhone assembler, has launched a new 4.5-MW solar power system at its facility in Zhejiang Province. The system includes a 4-MW rooftop distributed photovoltaic array and a 0.5-MW solar PV carport with EV charging stations. The project was delivered by Emeren Group Ltd. Apple is aiming to make all its products carbon-neutral by 2030, requiring partners in its global supply chain to use renewable energy.
