Arava Power’s 270MW solar PV project in Texas begins commercial operations

Arava Power's 270MW SUNRAY solar PV project in Texas has started commercial operations, expected to produce 515GWh of electricity annually. Arava Power and Paz Group acquired the SUNRAY project from OCI Energy in 2021, completed financial closing in 2023. The project secured US$215 million in construction financing. Ilan Zidkony, CEO of Arava Power, commented on the project. Texas has surpassed California in utility-scale solar PV capacity.
