Asian players to power data centres with renewables

Peak Energy Investments and Digital Edge have partnered to pursue renewables projects to power data centres across the Asia Pacific region. They aim to develop 500MW of operating capacity for data centres over three years. The projects will decarbonise up to 1GW of power and generate more than 1300GWh per year. Digital Edge plans to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030 with the help of renewable energy. The collaboration is supported by Stonepeak, focusing on infrastructure, data centres, and renewable energy assets.
