Avaada closes loan deal, wins 1-GW solar project in Indian tender

Avaada Energy, the renewables arm of India’s Avaada Group, has secured 1 GWp of solar capacity in a domestic tender and closed a debt deal for a solar project to supply electricity to Indian milk producers. The photovoltaic project is located in Karnataka and will be run under a PPA with the Karnataka Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Ltd. Avaada also won a bid for 1,050 MWp of capacity in a solar power tender by NTPC Ltd.
