Avangrid shareholders approve Iberdrola buyback

Avangrid shareholders have approved Iberdrola's acquisition of the 18% of the company not already owned by the Spanish energy giant. This move will take Avangrid private, delisting it from the NYSE. Shareholders will receive $35.75 per share. The acquisition aims to provide access to additional financial resources for investments in grid networks and renewable technologies.
