The economy and energy ministers of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of understanding at an investment forum in Tashkent to merge their energy systems. They agreed to explore the potential of connecting their energy grids through a high-voltage cable laid along the Caspian Sea bed, focusing on exporting green energy to Europe. The project aims to bolster regional energy integration and effective utilization of renewable resources.
