BayWa r.e. inks solar PPA in Japan, reaches other milestones

German renewables developer BayWa r.e. AG announced a 25-year corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) with Nippon Sheet Glass Co Ltd in Japan. Nippon Sheet Glass will procure 90% of the output from BayWa r.e. solar farm at a fixed price. BayWa r.e. also achieved milestones with its Kobe solar farm, Tsuno solar project, and is pursuing battery energy storage and wind power projects in Japan.
