BCR explores photovoltaic energy production on the roofs of its offices

Banca Comercială Română (BCR) is considering photovoltaic energy production on the roofs of its premises to increase the proportion of renewable energy used. They aim to have 90% of their electricity consumption from renewables by the end of 2023 and explore generating power on their own premises. BCR also plans to purchase more electric cars and have 25% of its corporate loan portfolio for green financing by 2025. The bank believes in the European directives for renewable energy capacity growth and participated in the conference organized by Energynomics on digitalization and energy efficiency.
