Bifacial tracking systems using a combination of bifacial modules with single-axis tracking have the lowest levelized cost of electricity for more than 90% of the world. Bifacial PV cells and modules are forecasted to overtake the market share of monofacial PV technologies. IEA-PVPS is studying best practices for bifacial tracking systems to optimize yield and value.
