Bitech working on ITC transfer deal for 100-MW BESS in Texas

Bitech Technologies Corporation is arranging the transfer of up to USD 80 million in investment tax credits associated with its Project Redbird battery energy storage system in Fort Bend County, Texas. The company anticipates generating about USD 78 million by the third quarter of 2025. CEO Benjamin Tran mentioned that a tax credit transfer agreement would be crucial for the project's monetization. Bitech also plans to complete financing for its first two 100-MW BESS projects by the end of the year.
