BlackRock’s climate infrastructure unit increases stake in Brite Energy Partners

BlackRock’s Climate Infrastructure business has increased its majority stake in South Korean independent power producer Brite Energy Partners. Brite Energy Partners aims to scale its solar portfolio to more than 1 GW, expand battery storage and EV charging operations, and signed a REC sale agreement with LG Innotek for renewable energy. CEO Brian Heeseong Kim expressed gratitude for BlackRock's support and highlighted plans for developing solar and battery energy storage assets.
