BNDES lends USD 40m for solar, hydro projects in Brazil

The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) has authorized a loan to support the construction of solar and hydropower capacity in Santa Catarina. Celesc, the state-run utility, will install solar panels and expand hydropower plants to generate clean electricity for local homes.
