BOEM approves Beacon Wind suction bucket tests

The US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has approved BP's Beacon Wind project in Massachusetts for testing suction bucket foundations, which could reduce environmental impacts and supply chain issues for offshore wind turbine installations.
