Boralex awarded 125 MW of battery storage in Ontario

Canadian energy producer Boralex Inc has been selected to install a 125-MW battery energy storage system in Ontario. The project, called The Oxford Battery Energy Storage, is a four-hour duration facility located in the Township of South-West Oxford and is expected to be operational in 2027-2028. Boralex's current BESS pipeline in Ontario also includes the 300-MW Hagersville and the 80-MW Tilbury projects.
