Brazil has achieved 30 GW of distributed generation capacity, with investments exceeding BRL 100 billion. The forecast for 2024 is BRL 140 billion. The Brazilian Association for Distributed Generation (ABGD) reports a significant increase in consumer units served by DG systems, led by solar power. São Paulo leads with over 4 GW capacity.
