Brazil's Eletrobras inks green H2 pacts with Ceara, Green Energy Park

Brazilian power distributor Eletrobras has signed MoUs with the government of Ceara state and European company Green Energy Park (GEP) for projects related to renewable energy and green hydrogen. The agreements aim to promote low-carbon hydrogen, green ammonia, and decarbonisation of the local economy, focusing on the Pecem Industrial and Port Complex. Eletrobras will supply renewable energy and green hydrogen to industrial projects in Ceara and collaborate with GEP to produce green hydrogen at competitive prices.
