Brazilian WEG plans to produce wind turbines at US factory

Brazilian company WEG SA plans to enter the US wind turbine manufacturing market by producing its 7.X MW platform in Minneapolis. The facility will begin shipping in 2026 and aims to develop the local supply chain while continuing its wind generation efforts in Brazil and India.
