Brookfield secures IFC funds for 550-MWp solar project in India

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) will provide financing to Brookfield Asset Management for building a 550-MWp solar park in India’s Rajasthan state. The solar park in Bikaner will generate electricity for commercial and industrial consumers with plans to sell it under long-term power purchase agreements. The project aims to contribute to India's goal of increasing its non-fossil fuel capacity to 500 GW by 2030.
