Brookfield to take controlling stake in India's Leap Green

Brookfield Asset Management Ltd has acquired a majority controlling stake in Indian renewables platform Leap Green Energy Pvt Ltd for up to USD 550 million. Leap Green Energy is dedicated to providing clean energy solutions to the commercial and industrial customers in Tamil Nadu. The investment from Brookfield will support Leap Green's growth in the renewables sector.
