The Bucharest Stock Exchange saw a surge in trading activity with trades rising to 276 million lei. Hidroelectrica and OMV Petrom were among the most active shares traded. The value of share transactions increased compared to the previous week, reaching 275.8 million lei. The stock market capitalization also rose to 340.6 billion lei. Notable developments included Carbochim securities, TTS, and SIF Hotels appreciating while Electrocontact, Condmag, and AETA faced price depreciations.
