Bulgartransgaz picks two consortia for Vertical Gas Corridor expansion

Bulgartransgaz selected two consortia for the Vertical Gas Corridor expansion project, aiming to link Greece and northern Europe. The project involves expanding infrastructure to enable bidirectional gas transmission among several countries. The tender was divided into three lots covering spatial planning, design, material delivery, construction, and commissioning. The selected consortia will work on looping and gas transmission pipelines to increase capacity between Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania.
