Cadeler orders third A-class installation vessel

Cadeler has placed an order for its third A-class wind farm installation vessel named Wind Apex. This vessel is set to be delivered in H1 2027 and will be built by COSCO Heavy Industries in Qidong, China. The contract price is approximately US$400m. The vessel will have a deck space of 5,600m2, a payload of more than 17,000 tonnes, and will be able to transport and install seven complete 15MW turbine sets per load.
