Cadeler secures installation vessel reservation deal, orders new ship

Cadeler A/S, a Denmark-based offshore wind installation company, has signed a significant installation vessel reservation agreement with an undisclosed customer. The deal, potentially worth between EUR 400 million and EUR 700 million over four years, secures the availability of vessels from Cadeler's fleet for upcoming wind farm installation projects starting in 2027. The agreement is subject to the client's success in a 2024 auction. Cadeler has also announced the order of its third A-class wind farm installation vessel to meet the growing market demand, which will be built by COSCO Heavy Industries in Qidong, China, and delivered in the first half of 2027.
