California approves $475m for port upgrades

California lawmakers have approved a $10bn climate bond legislation SB 867, including $475m for port upgrades for offshore wind. The state aims for 5GW of offshore wind by 2030 and 25GW by 2045. California is on track to be a global leader in floating offshore wind and aims for 100% clean electricity by 2045.
