California hits new milestone with EV chargers

California has surpassed 150,000 public and shared private chargers installed statewide, including 137,648 'Level 2' chargers and 14,708 fast chargers. The state is dedicated to clean transportation and has made significant investments in EV charging infrastructure. Governor Gavin Newsom announced the approval of over $1 billion in funding for various EV charging projects. California also has regulations for EV charging reliability and collaborates with the University of California, Davis, for charger reliability testing.
