California transportation terminal retrofits energy storage to its solar carports

Energy Toolbase and San Diego-based solar installer Stellar Solar Commercial have partnered to deliver a solar and energy storage project for Marten Transport in Mira Loma, California. The project included solar carport structures and a BYD Chess energy storage system managed by Acumen EMS controls software. The system optimizes peak-shaving during peak TOU periods, supporting the customer to capture value from their energy assets.
