Californian commission adopts offshore plan

The California Energy Commission (CEC) has adopted its landmark Strategic Plan to develop 25GW of offshore wind by 2045. The plan includes assessments and recommendations related to various aspects. AB 525 directed the CEC to set offshore wind goals and develop the strategic plan. Various stakeholders, including American Clean Power Association and Oceantic Network, have commended the commission for its efforts towards offshore wind development.
