Canadian Solar’s e-STORAGE wins 11-MW BESS job in England

Canadian Solar's energy storage unit e-STORAGE has been contracted to deliver a battery energy storage system in Essex country, England for the Coryton Energy Park project. The system will feature high-density lithium-iron-phosphate cells and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. Root-Power Ltd, a unit of YLEM Group, aims to build over 1 GWh of energy storage systems in the UK by 2025.
