Canadian Solar unit to deliver 498-MWh DC battery in Texas

The energy storage unit of Canadian Solar Inc has been selected by Aypa Power for a project in Texas. The project will involve a standalone battery energy storage system with a capacity of 498 MWh. The facility will use e-STORAGE's SolBank 3.0 technology with lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) chemistry battery cells.
