Canon unveils passivation material to improve perovskite solar cell durability

Canon, the Japan-based optical imaging and printing technology company, has introduced a new functional material for passivation layer in perovskite solar cells. The material was validated by researchers at Toin University and Canon. This material will simplify the fabrication process of perovskite solar cells and is expected to be in volume production by 2025.
