CATL presents EV battery with 1,000 km range

At the Auto China 2024 trade fair in Beijing, CATL unveiled its new Shenxing Plus LFP battery, featuring enhanced energy density due to innovative technologies such as granular gradation for cathodes and a 3D honeycomb material for anodes. The battery boasts a high C-rate of four, allowing it to charge significantly faster, notably charging enough energy for a 600 km journey in just 10 minutes. Along with a more integrated battery housing design, these advancements contribute to an overall improvement in battery performance.
